How to Use & Pro Tips

  1. Apply 3-4 pumps for small, 4-5 pumps for medium, or 5-7 pumps for large dogs.
  2. Work from neck to tail, massaging right down to the skin. Avoid the eyes and ears.
  3. Leave in formulation, no rinsing needed. For heavily soiled coats, follow with a full wash.

Note: If you haven't used a natural shampoo before, use half the amount you normally would. This formula is concentrated - a little goes a long way. If you use more than recommended, your dog will be safe as this is an ultra-mild formula.

Is this safe for puppies?

Yes. The formula is mild and suitable for puppies over 8 weeks. We recommend avoiding the eye area and rinsing thoroughly.

How often can I use it?

Most dogs are on a 6-week cycle. That said, you can use it as needed. The sulphate-free formula is gentle enough for weekly use without drying the skin or stripping the coat's natural oils.

My dog has a skin condition — is this suitable?

This shampoo is formulated for dogs with sensitivities. However, if your dog is under veterinary treatment for a diagnosed skin condition, we recommend checking with your vet before switching products.

Can I use human shampoo on my dog?

Shampoos for humans sits around 5.5 pH and is too acidic for dog skin which sits at around 6.5-7.5

Will it lather without sulphates?

Yes, the combination of Coconut, Olive & Neem soaps + coco glucoside produces a rich lather.

The dry foaming shampoo has a foaming pump which aerates the product to create a fluffy foam.

How many washes per bottle?

You'll get 5-6 washes out of this 100 ml bottle depending on the size of your dog.

What if shampoo gets in my dog's eyes?

Rinse with clean water immediately and contact your vet if irritation persists.

What does it smell like?

The natural essential oil blend of Vetiver, cedarwood, turmeric, lavender, citronella smells earthy, warm & fresh unlike the "chemical" smell from commercial products.

Does it work on double-coated breeds?

General groomer guidance applies here, section the coat and work to skin as you would with commercial products.

Will the turmeric stain my dog's coat?

No, Turmeric oil doesn't have the yellow colour typically associated with it. So, you don't have to worry about stains.

I'm on a septic/grey water system. Can I safely use this?
